The Board reconvened this day at the hour of 10:00 A.M., with all.Commissioners
being present.
Resolution No. C-159, authorizing Prosecuting Attorney to take such legal stJlpS
by suit or oth~rwise, as he deems sufficient to carry out the purpose and intent
of Resolution No. C-145, adopted by this Board, February 9, 1950.
RESOLUTION NO. C-159.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners for Jefferson County, that the
Prosecuting Attorney be and he is hereby authorized to take such legal steps, by suit
or otherwise, as he deems sufficient to carry out the purpose and intent of Resolution
No. C-145, adopted by this Board February 9, 1950.
ADOPTED this lath day of August, 1951.

The Board met this date at the hour of 10: 00 A. M., all Commissi oners being present.
Liquor license applications were approved for Leon G. Dieu, d/b/a Curley's Place,
Star Route 2, Port Townsend, BCEF, andWayne L. Wolfer, d/b/a Eaglemeunt Service
and Grocery, Route 2, Port Townsend, E license.
The State Liquor Board disapproved the ap:,lication of Clarence H. Galloway, d/b/a
Mt. Walker Grocery and Service Station, Route 2, Quilcene, as the type of business not
suitable to include liquor sales.
The Directors of School District No. 50, submitted a request for Capital Outlay
Levy of 2 mills of the General Fund Levy of 12 Mills to be set aside as Transportation
Capital Outlay Fund, for the ensuing Budget Year 1951 - 1952.
It has come to the attentEon of the Board that the Gardiner Post Office is to be
discontinued as of 3eptember 1,1951, and contemplated service by rural delivery from
Sequim, in Clallam County. The change has caused much dissatisfaction amo~the inhabi-
tants of the Gardiner Area. A formal protest has been made by letter of AUQlst 20th,
to Congressman Henry M. Jackson requesting that the llE.tter 1:;e given his attention in
dealing \'/ith the Postal Department for its retention as a Post Office.
A letter was received from H. E. Gleason, County Assessor suggesting that a building
permit system be established in the County. No action was taken at this time on the
suggestion.
