A l'etter was received from Representative Henry M. Jackson informing the Board he '"d
will investigate the Gardiner Post Office matter and give the Board a report on same. ~
A letter was received from Gordon Sandison expressing thanks for the Board's request'g
that no cut be made in liquor fund diUribution to the Counties. ro
A request was made by the Chimaum Drainage District No.1 for a five mill levy to ~
be placed on property in that district for improvements in 1952. The Board approved the w
request. ~
The minutes of the last regular session were read, corrected and approved as ~
corrected.

The members of the Board proceeded to Gardiner to view the road under argument between
C. J. Messer and Mrs. Rex McInnes, and no decisionyks made as to whether it is a public
road.

The Board met at 10:00 with all present.
W. C; Mamaw, Aberdeen, appeared and explained to the Board that Stat.e timber land in
the West end of the County should be sold in large enough parcels to allow the building
and upkeep of pulp mill, saw mills, etc., \msn it is sold to private parties.
