vnlEREAS, the United States GOV61'r.men t throue;h the Corps of Engineers, U. S. Army,
ha~ advised Jefferson County that the license granted on 8 AU~lst 1950 for an underground
communication cable line di d not correctly describe the right-of-way upon whi ch the
Bovernment installation had been placed; end
\<1HEREAS, the United States Government is desirous of correcting the description of
the .premises over which t he cable line is lald and has presented a Supplemental Agree-
ment to the original license effecting the desired change for signature;
. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that such permistiion be sranted the Government for
the purpose mentioned above, and the Chairma.n be, and he hereby is authorized and
direct~d on behalf of the Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson County, Washington,
to execute and deliver to the Government that certain Supplemento.l Agreement dated the
17th day of Sept. 1951, and by reference incorpoJ'<1ted herein and made a part of this
Resoltlnion, Granting such permission. Passed in reg1lL:lr session this 17th dClY of Sept.
1951.

Referring to the MUnutes of May 21st, that permission was granted to Keit~ Shannon
to use the Memorial Field in' behalf of the Townsend Baseball Team, for holding wrestling
matches, a motion ';las made b~, James Yarr, seconded by Bertil Kruse, that Mr. Shannon
be notified to make an accountinG to the County of the County's 20% share of the proceeds,
to be creditted to the Memorial Field Fund.
Land applications were approved for W. B. ~utchell, Chimacum for Chalmers 2nd Add.
Lots 32 to 40, Block 15, offered ~27.00.
Clyde L. Newman, Star Route ill, Port. To;.rnsend, IrondDle, Block 58, offered $120.00.
Resolution No. CQ163, ~aR signed authorizing the removal of existing wooden bridge
and replacing it with a culvert on the Dose';Tallips River Road, as follows:
