The Honorable Board met at 10: 00 A. 1,;., wi th all members present.
Representatives of the Veterans' of Foreign ~ars appeared in regard to the lease
of the Veterans' Hall, with Arnold Sather, Commender of V. F. W. Post No. 1495.. A
motion was made by BertI 1 Kntse, seconded hy James C. Yarr, that the amount of ~15.00
per year be fixed as rental nnd the lease t,o be submitted February 11th, for signature
of the Board !>!embers. Motion carried.

Applica tions for County land were approved for:

In connection with the vacation of a strip of land 40 feet wide, 20 feet on each
side of center line of Gardiner Beach Road, located over Lot 2 Sec. 35, T. 30 N. R 2 W.,

RESOLUTION NO. 0-171.
As the following descri bed strip of land is not useful for county road purposes,
and the public will be benefited by the vacation; now therefore,
BE IT UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissi~ners of Jefferson County,
that it is the intention of the Jefferson Board of County Con~issioners by unanimous
resolution to vacate and'ab~ndon a road described as follows:
"A strip of land forty (40) feet vii de, being
twenty (20) feet on each side of center line
of the Gardiner Beach Road, as the same is
now located over and across Lot Two (2) of
Section 35, Township 30 North, Range Two (2)

BE IT FURTH!,!;Ii RZ30LVED that a hearing be had on this matter on Monday, the third
day of March, 1952, and that notice of said hearing be ?osted and published in the
manner and form prescribed by law.
