necessity and the County Roud Engineer is HEm~BY ORDERED tND AUTHORIZED to re~()rt and
proceed thereon ps by law provided.
BE IT fUH'rHER RESOLVED that this purpose be performed hy contract in accordance
with the Standard Road and Bridge Sp~cificetions of the State of Washington as adopted
by thi~ Board.

The awarding of bids was made for the tractor with loader, which were opened on
February 8th. After much discussion and investigation of products, Bertil Kruse made
the motion, seconded by James C. Yarr, that the bid of Surge Dairy Supply on the
Ferguson Trnctor was accepted Bsthe best bid recE:lived. for County I in the amount of
~2,516.60, plus sales tax.

The Honorahle Board met at 10:00 A.M. ].;rs. Hector rt:unn, r,'rs. Miller and r'irs.
~'Jiley Magee requested information as to three acres of land olmed by the County formerly
used as a gravel pit. Permission was grrtnted to the Neighborhood Improvement Club to
use the property.
A call for bids was made for two dump truc..:s, one 4 cubi c yards and one 2 cubic
yards capacity, to be opened Friday, j\~arch 7, 1952 at 10:00 A. M.
