A letter was received from Miss ToUte Tooker and O. E. ',Vitzke objecting to the
open~ing of 17th St. to Enterprise St., Junction City, by any private perties. No
objection was ent'3red to the street bei nr; !=,ut through and maintained by t,he County.
At 1:30 P.M., Mr. Kruse moved 'lnd Mr. James Yarr seconded the motion to accept
the bid of Thomas Motors in amount of ~2,957.24 plus sales tax, for the 52 Ford dump
truck, and the bidder is re~uired to furnish a performance bond guaranteeine delivery
within sixty days. Motion carried.
Mr. Yarr moved and Bertil Kruse seconded the motion that the bid of 01)~pic Garage
and Eouipment Company for the International L-185 in amQ1mt of ;));5,994.00 pI us sale s tax,
be accepted, the truck to meet specifications with fifteen days' delivery. Motion carried.
Bidder to submit performance bond 1Maranteeinb delivery. ***
An 80:-'1ication was received for ABCEF liquor license by Antonio Pennini and VAry E.
Beckett, d/b/a Bayvie~ Lunch, Brinnon, Nash.

Mr. Tom Lieb, COllnt,y Assessor and Acting COl1nty School Superintendent, has appointed
H. E. Gleason, Acting !,ssessor from r.Yarch 15, 1952, to assume all powers and duties to
act in ~is behalf in that office. The appointment was approved by the Board.

locally, and the rest of the County's fleet of trucks are international Trucks. The

this bid and th e lowest bid.
