The Board met at 10:00 A. M., with &11 members present.
The Board of. County Commissioners' having been informed by County School Superintend-
ent Tom Lieb that a majority of School Districts of this County have requested the
adoption of tha 1% Excise Tax on real estate transactions, and the Board of County
Commissioners having been furnished an Ordinance which in its terms is uniform throughbut
the Stat(.l, upon mot.it,n duly made and seconded, It was unanimously resolved that a public
hearing be held on 8uch prop,osed Or'dinance on Wednesday the 30th day of April, 1952, at
the COmIll!saioner's Room, Court House and that the Auditor give notice in the Port Townsend
Leader.

Mr. John Schmocker appeared before the Board in connection with a right of way on
the County Road ~Li/(known as the Fuller Road), and the replacement of the bridge across
the outlet creek .from Crocker Lake. The Board agreed to view the premises.
April 8, 1952.
The meoting with ~~. Schmockor was held and after fully considering the matter, ~~e
right of way along the northeasterly bank of the outlet rreek from Crocker Lake, was
purChased, eliminating the need for 8 bridge.
