Moa, R2, Port Townsend, si SENE and 33, Block 24, Offered $7.00 to 19, Block 24, " 24.50 Sec. 29, Twp. 29 R., 1 W.. offered ,100.00 Lot 2 Sec. 31, Twp. 29 R 1 E" 200.00 Liquor applications were approved for: O. RiChard Ramstad, d/b/a Dick's Tavern, Port Ludlow, Wash., BCEF Minutes of the last regular meeting were read and approved as read.. Bills were examined and ordered paid as follows: Current Expense Assistance So1dlsrs' Relief County Roads T. B. Hospitalization $ 6,827,84 1,745.76 50.00 35,516.13 1,6M.50 County Engineer Keith Jane s reported the Clearwater Bridge was in need of sandblasting and painting and a call for bids w~s made for 10:00 A. M., June 2, 1952. Resolution No. C-180 was signed transferring $20,435.13 from the Jefferson County Road Fund to the Portage Canal Bridge Fund, as follows: RESOLUTION NO. C-180. WHEREAS, The Portage Canal Bridge Fund has not sufficient monies to cover tha County's portion of the construction of said bridge, BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the sum of twenty thousand, four hundred thttty five dollars and thirteen cents ($~0~435.l3) Cash on hand December 31, 1951}, be transferred from the Jefferson County Road ~'und to said Portage Canal Bridge Fund. A Resolution of the Port Townsend Chamber of Commerce favors a location north of Seattle for a bridge to be constructed to facilitate travel between Olympic Peninsula and Seattle. Upon motion mndo by James Yarr, seconded by Bertll Kruse, and unanimously carried, the Board of County Commissioners, does hereby a dvocate and urge the Toll Bridge Authority, in construct1.ng or plenning the construction of a cross-sound bridge, to locate the same at a point north of Saattla rather than at a point south of Seattlo.
