The members of the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners met in regular session at 10:00 A. M., with all members prevent. Mrs. Dains Bordner appeared regarding the gate which is closed on the road which she has been using to enter her property. She was Advi8ed to see Miles Brown, as the road is not. a County road and the Board has no authority to 9ct in the matter. Mrs. Harry Swanson appeared and oxpressed appreciation to the Board fer t.he road work whi ch haa been done on the Swansonville Hill Road. The Minutuu of the last regular sesoion were read and approved as read. Bills were examined and approved as follows: Current ExpenSI!l Assis tance County Roads T, B. Hospital $6,79$.2g 1,734.9,'2 19,986.55 15.00 Road matters were discussed with the County Engineer, and the Board recessed at 4:00 P.rr.. Friday, August a, 1952. ................- The Hono1rable Board met at 10:00 A. M., with Commissioners Are,! and Kruse present, Commissioner Yarr having been in attendance at a 1'Telfare meeting in Aberdeen, wi. th the County Welfare Administrator. Various taxpayers ap:::>9ared before the Board wi th requests for advice concerning roads. - The members present adjourned to view several roads on which work was requested. , ( Ffonday, August 1~, 1952. The members of the Board met in regular session at 10:00 A.M., with all present. App1ice.tions for liquor licenses were received as follows: Earl L. Graves, d/b/a Hop'S Grocery, Quilcene, E license, approved. Ethel E. Galloway, d/b/a Mt. Walker Groce~/, Quilcene, Wash., E license ~ryproved. Wallsce U. Norton, Norton's Gardiner Store, Gardiner, EF license, approved. A notice was also received from the Washington State Liquor Control Board, notifying the B'Jard that t he premises and license of C. V. Dorothy, Bri.nnon were destroyed by fire on July 20.. A letter was received from A. R. McWain, Fairmount, requesting the Board to extend the road in Faurmount one quarter of a mile so that the residents could have their mail delivered in front of their homes. A letter was also received from D. J. Yarr Postmat~er at Port Townsend, advising'the Boa.rd that the Post Office Department would extend their service to these residents if the road work requested could be granted. The Clerk was instructed to write to Mr. McWain and Mr. Yarr stating that they will look into the matter and do the work as soon as possible, but that there is a lot of work on hand at the present time. The Treasurer appearod and requested the Board to sign an Order of Sale for County Roperty to be held September 12, 1952 at 10:00 A. M.
