The Board of County Commissioners met at 10:00 A. M., with all members pre!Jcnt..
Mr. Jack Lay appeared before the Board and presented the Plat of 2nd Additioll to
Trail's End Homesites, Inc., which was a~~roved by the Board.
Mrs. 'I'lard Williams and Mrs. Lee T. Davis appeared 'md expl'essed the appreciu1.ilm
of the Jefferson County Fair Association for ~.t't: help this Board extende'i Cit the Fair
Grounds for t.he .Jeff<:<rf<on Connty 4-H Club Fair. Mrs. Davb spoke in regard to the Fair
Association and requested funds from the County for the matching State Funds which would
he given for the supj:'ort of the Fair Association. A reque st was made for a 1 mill levy
to be placed on the be~lot November 4th, to be used for improvement:;; on buildings at
the Fair Grounds. The matter was taken under consideration.
A land applic:;.,tion was approved for I>tildred Bunce, Chim8cum, for 7th Ave. Acre
Trqcts , W 437 ft., Irondp~e, offered $40.00.
