The Honorable Board of Jefferson County Commissioners met at 10:00 A. M., with
all members present.
Minutes of the last regular session were road and approved as read.

A letter was received from the Standard Oil Company of California requesting
permission to do geological survey work on County Roads in Jefferson County. A motion
was made by James C. Yarr, seconded by Bertil KnJse granting permission. An agreement
was signed by the members of the Board.
An application for County Real Estate was approved as follows:
H. J. Carroll, Eisenbeis Add. to P. T. Lots 1,2 & 8, Block 255 and Lots 1-8
block 231 - offered $110.00.
Pettygrove's 2nd Add. to P. T. Lots 1-8 Block 11 and Lots
1-8 Block 18, offered $160.00.
Abe E. Virginia - Hadlock, Wash. Irondale, Lots 1,2 & 3, Block 89 offered $20.00.

BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF JEFFERSON COUNTY, WASH.
In the matter of County Road } Resolution to oil certain county
Oiling. } roads and streets.
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS THAT it is their intention
to improve certain county roads and streets in the Irondale, Arcadia, and Port Townsend
areas by improving the ~lrface with bituminous treatment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that for the foregoing proper county road purpose there is
hereby appropriated sums in the following detail:

The county road purpose herein described is HEREBY DECLARED to be a public necessity
and the County Road Engineer is HEREBY ORDERED AND AUTHORIZED to report and proceed
thereon as by law provided.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this purpose be performed by in accordance
with the Standard Road and Bridge Specifications of the State of Washington as adopted
by this Board.
ADOPTED this 6th day of Oct. 1952.
