The Honorable Board of Jefferson County Commissi onere met in regular session at
10:00 A. M., with all members present.
A petition for vacation of 10th Ave. in the Plat of 7th Ave. Acre Tracts, in Vol.
2 of Plats, Page 127, lying between the Northerly right of way line of Highway 7,
known as 4 Corners to Chimacum County Road and Southerly right of way of County road
leading to Irondalel over tracts 161 and 162, was received from J. C. Harper and Helen
Harper. The Board rixed the time for hearing as 10:00 A. M., January 5, 1953.
The matter of dividing the Federal Forest Reserve Fund was brought up at this time.
Representatives of the school districts of the County were present and discussed many
plans and formulas for distribution. The amount of ~40g,497.45 was to be divided equally
between roads and schools, the amount. of $204,248.73 being given to roads and a like
am&unt being given to schools, ~tdch will be divided in accordence with a plan to be
agreed upon by the County Superintendent of Schools and the Superintendents of the school
