His objection being based upon the fol1o~dng reason - he does not object to giving Clearwater and Rrinnon exyra money, but does not approve of the manner of the distribution of the biance of the school funds. The Board proceeded to count the cash in the Treasurer's office and found the amount of $1,936.98 to, be correct. The Board me~b9rs signed the Treasurer's report Showing cash on hand December 31, 1952, as $3,402.88. Bonds for Commissioners Arey and Huntingford in amount of $7500.00 were approved by the Prosecuting Attorney. Bond in amount of $1,000.00 for F. Webster Cook, Constable was approved. Engineer Keith Jones presented the final copy of the road plan for maintenance and construction during 1953 for County Roads. The plan was accepted by the Board with minor changes. Engineer Jones reported to the Board that the Rocky Brook Bridge will be repaired in the near future. Recess at 1~:00 p.m. Monday, January 19, 1953. The Honorable Board of County Commissioners met in regular session with all members present. This being the time f~r opening bids on two du.'TIp trucks, the following bids were received: Truck weighing more than 4400 pounds: Widner Motor Co. , 1953 Dodge $2,99$.00 plus tax. A motion was made by Bertil Kruse, seconded by George Huntingford, that the bids of th e followi ng were accepted: Olympic Garage and Equipment Co., on the L 194 International Truck, priced at $8,422.00, with Galion Hoisb, including turn-in - for larger truck. Although this Met lS $3.00 higher than that of Widner Motor Co., the factory pri ce is h1r,her, and ia therefore a batter value for the County.
