The Honorable Board of County Commissioners met in regular session at lO~OO A. M., with all Members present. ~~s. Fr&~k Beck, Quilcene, appeared regarding a Home Demonstration Agent for the 4-H Club at Quilcene. The Board will have County Agent Jess Tiffany report on the matter. Mr. Walter Evans from the Disbled Veterans appeared. The County Road Fund will be authorbed to spend up to $2500.00 on streets at Trails' End Homesites, South Point, by motion made by Bortil Kruse and seconded by George Huntingford. These items of work are necessary to handle traffic in that area. Minutes of the January meetings were read and approved as read. Bonds for George Huntingford and Lyall Arey in amount of $7,500.00 each for four years were approved by the Board. It appearing that Mile s and Maxine Brown own a strip of land included in the Memorial Field, and it now appearing they are willing to deed the County a right of way for Lots ill Block 91 of the Original Townsite of Port Townsend for $150.00. A motion was made by Bertil Kruse, seconded by George Huntingford to pay $150.00 to Miles and Maxine Brown for this land, .~ich includes a strip 5 feet wide on the outside of the fence, which will facilitate in making repairs, etc., when needed. Keith Jones, Engineer appeared and reported on work necessary for repairs to Rocky Brook Bridge and on Beckett Point Road. Resolutions No. C-193 and C-194 were signed as follows: RESOLUTION NO. C-193 COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO. 113 BEFORE THE BOARD OF JEFFERSON COUNTY COr~SSIONERS, STATE OF ~ASHINGTON. In the Matter of Rocky Brook Bridge ) Resolution to improve existing bridge and Vicinity } approaches. IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS that it is their intention to improve County Road No. 54 by replacing existing Rocky Brook Bridge with log timber and grading the approaches. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT for the foregoing proper county road purpose there is hereby appropriated sums in the following detail: I Gas Tax Funds Dona ti ons, etc. Other Total Loc.
