WASHINGTON TN': L.ADIIJII: CO A notice was received from the Washin~ton State Liquor Board that a liquor license issued to Wm. B. and Catherine M. Morse, d/b/a Upper Hoh Store, P. O. Box 201, Forks, has been transferred to Guy and Nina Hathaway under the same trade na!:<3. An application for an EF license was approved for C. V. DorothYt Brinnon, wash/. An application for and EF license was also approved for James ~. Edgbert, d/b a Irondale Grocery, Star Route 1, Port Townsend, Washington. It being the time advertised for opening bids for an automobile for the Road Dept., the fOllowing was the only bid received: . Kruse Pontiac, 1953 GMC Suburban - bid $2438.01 including tax, less the Trade-in of a 1941 Ford Sedan of $100.00, making the bid price $2338.01. A motion was made by George Huntingford1 seconded by Lyall Arey that the bid of Kruse Pontiac be accapted in amount of $2338.ul. Motion carried. A discussion arose as to the disposition of a maintenance truck ~ replaced by new equipment. The Engineer reported it could be used in the Clearwater District. As there is also need for it in another District, no disposition was made at this time. The Board approved the surfacing job on the Hoh River Road to start in March, pro- vided the Secession Bill is not in effect before that date. A land application was approved for Glenn L. Benson on Broadway Addition to Port Townsend) Lots 8 and 9, Block 1, offered $70.00 W. O. Passmore appeared&requested the County to grant an easement for him to construct a well and pump house on Waterway Place - Olele Point Plat. The County Engin- eer was instructed to prepare said easement for the signatures of the Board members. No further business appearing, the meeting adjourned at 4:00 p.m., to meet in regular session Monday, March 2nd, 1953.
