The Honorable Board of County Commissioners met in regular session at 10:00 A. M., with Berti 1 Kruse being absent, due to illness. George Huntingford am Lyall Arey present. The minutes of the last meetings of the Board were read and approved as read. This being the time called for opening bids for one asphalt supply tank, the following was the only bid received: Beall Pi]?e & Tank Corporatlon, Por't.1and, Oregon, in accordance with specifications, ~5 699.00 f.o.b. plant. Clearance lighliS, $34.00 extra. Thifl being 'a fair bid, a motion was made by George Hunt.:i.n6ford, seconded by Lyall Arey, to accept the bid in amount of $5,699.00 plus freigTit and sales tax. Regarding the easement requested by \'!a1do 0.' Passmore on l<'ebruary 16th, the Board signed ~he following Easement for Waterway Place, Olele Point Plat: EASEMENT FOR PlJ?1P HOUSE AND WELL KNOI'l ALL r-EN BY THESE PRESENTS: That, in consideration of the premises, the County of Jefferson, a municipel sub- division of the State of Washington, acting by ~nd throu~~ its Board of County Commiss- ioners, and pursuant to a motion heretofore adopted by s aid Board, does hereby give and grant to ','laldo O. PasSl'Iore and Jennie Passmore, husband and wife, an easenent with right to maintain and operate a well and pump house located on county property, known as Waterway Place in the official plat of 01e1e Point, Jefferson County, Washington. PROVIDED, HOI'lEV'i:R, that the grantees agree to furnish and ins tall the pump house and well and do all that is necessary to keep the pump house and well in repair at all times, and further agree that at any time it shall be necessary to remove the installation for road maintenance, road construction, or any other purpose pursuant to the aolfare of the county, the grantees will remove said structure at their own expense. C-195 WHEREAS, The Portage Canal Bridge Fund has not sufficient monies to cover the County's portion of the construction of said brid,ge, BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, that the sum of nine thousand, three hundred sixty three dollars and forty six cents (#9,363.46) be transferred from the Jefferson County Road Fund to the Portage Canal Bridge Fund for the final payment of all construction costs.
