A notice was received from the Corps of Engineers, U. S. Army' governing the
use ~ld navigation of a portion of Carr Inlet, for use as an acoustics testing range.
Mr. C. W. Miller, Welfare Administrator, submitted a copy of the minutes of the
Jefferson County Advisory Committee meeting held May 25, 1953, at which Dr. Clayton
M. Schaill was elected Chairman, A. L. Tickner, Vice-Chairman, Wm. J. Enfield, Secretary
and Charles W. Miller, Clerk.
The members of the Board conferred with the Engineer OD matters of importance
in connection with the County Road Program. '
No further business appearing, the meeting was adjourned until July 6, 1953.
