monthly fuel tax allotments withheld to the extent of -- - - - - Dollars $ ----- .
From time to time, as circumstances may require in connection with the construction
and progress of the work, the State will make advances from its own funds of amounts
necessary to pay all costs of the project. The County will be resolution reserve, set
aside and approp,riate from the County Road Fund the sum of Twenty thousand threo hundred
ninety-eight 68/~OO - - Dollars ($20,398.68), and from its monthly fuel tax allotments
withheld the sum of - _ - - - - -. Dollars ($ - - - ), allocating the same to
reimbursement for advancesm-a-de- 'by' "the-State. -
VI.
The County will hold the State harmless from any and all costs, claims, demands and
obligations of whatsoever nature arising by reason of the State's participation in or
actionB for the Sounty in connection with the project.
VII.
That certain Memorandum issued by the State of Washington, Department of Highways,
governing financing of county and city project::; j r.clwlecl 1 n the Federal Aid Postwar
Program, such Memorandum being dated February la, 1946, consisting of four mimeographed
sheets, copy of whichmBmorandum is marked "Exhibit An and attached hereto, insofar as
the provisions t.hereof !-IrEl not inconsistent with mat.ters cont,ained in this agreement,
shall pertain to the project; the said memorandum being now referred to and by such
reference incorporated herein and made an integral part hereof.
