The members of the Board having worked on the final Budget for 1954 it was adopted
in tho amount of $113,866.00, the preliminary budgets having been duly filed with the
County Auditor on or before the second Monday in August, 1953, and filed with the Board
of County Commissioners on September 8, 1953 in accordance with the provisions of the law,
and due notice having been publ1fhed in the Port Townsend Leader that on the first Monday
in October, 1953, the Board of County Commissioner's would meet for the purpose above
stated, and after he ari ngs wi th the va rl. ou S organJ zation s representing tax payers, and having
heard all matters in connection with the Budget, it W8S ordered that tax levies be set as
follows, end the fClllowing budgets approved:
