BE IT HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Highways be and he is hereby
authorized and requested to make expenditures as are necessary from available state funds
for and on behalf of the County of Jeffel'son to the extent of Fourteen Thousand, Three
Hundred Seventy-Seven and 77/100 Dollars ($14,377.77) as a part of said County's partici-
pating share and costs in the above-mentioned project, reimbur~ement therefor being hereby
pledged as a part of this resolution, to-wit; That there shall be and there hereby is
reserved, set aside and appropriated from the County Road Fund of the County of Jefferson
and allocated for the use and purpose herein mentioned the sum of Fourteen Thousand,
Three Hundred Seventy-Seven and 77/100 Dollars ($14,377.77), which sum is to be held by
said County in trust for the sole and exclusive purpose of making reimbursement there-
from to the State of Washington for such expenditures made by said State for and on
behalf of said County as a part of said County's participating share and costs in the
above-menU oncd project. When and as the County is billed by the Dire ctOl' of Highways
for reimbursement for such expenditure made by the State, such billings when properly
supported by current accumulative estimates of the total cost of the aforementioned
project to the date thereof shall be promptly paid by warrant or warrants drawn on the
County Road Fund to t he extent of the appropriation hereby mElde, reserved and set aside
and allocated to such use and purpose.

Commissioners Kruse and Arey inspected the County jail and found the condition
satisfactory.
Redess at 4:00 P.M.
Monday, March 15, 1954.
The Honorable Board of Jefferson County Gommissioners met in regular session with
all members pres8nt.
Mrs. Mabel Jcrivner appeared relative to vacation of streets in Jupiter City. She
was advised by the Board to have the matter presented to the Board by an attorney.
The Board fixed May 3, 1954, as the date of hearing on ~ Resolution abolishing
the office of Constable in any precinct in the County. This matt(~r will be advertised
for heari ng on that date.
An easement for water line across the Bee Mill Road, was signed as follows:

That, in consideration of the premises, the County of Jefferson, a municipal
subdivision of the State of ''lashington, acting by and through, its !.:loard of County
Commissioners, and purSUAnt to a mot:l.on heretofore adopted by said !.:loard, doer. hereby
give and grant to Herbert R. Sallee and Mabel R. Sallee, husband and wife, an easement
with right to construct and maintain a water line along and across the !.:lee Mill Road
(County Road No. 17) from approximate Station 35 .. 00 to approximat.e Station 38 .. 00,
situat.ed in Government Lot 2, Section 13, Township 26N., Range 2 W., W. M.
PROVIDED, HOWEVER that the grantees agree to l'urn.l.oh and install t.he pipes and
keep it in repair at all times, and furthur agree t.hat lit. Ilny tlmlJ it shall be necesn,fary
