The Honorable Board of Jefferson County Commissioners met in regular session at 10:00 A. M., with all members present. , Minutes of the last regular meeting were read and approved as read. A notice was received from the Washington State Liquor Control Board advising that license issued to Raymond E. Burns d/b/a Trails' End Tavern, South Point Ferry Docl1'i1 Shine, Washington, has beAn 3mended to show Class C license privileges added to original Class D &E license. A resignation from Fred J. Fields, Asnessor was received effective April 1, 1954, due to his returning to Government employment. Upon motion made by George Huntil1bford, and seconded by Bertil Kruse, the resignation was accepted. Motion carried. Applications were considered for the position. In order to transfer the ne cessary funds for bond redempti on during 1954 for the Portage Canal Bridge, Resolution No. C-229 was signed as follows: RESOLUTION NO. C-229 1,lIHEREAS, in the ~rp.ar 1954, the sum of $12,242.00 is required to redeem bonds No. 10/18 and coupons Nos.. 6 and 7 of the Jefferson County General Obligation Bridge Bonds. BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners for Jefferson County, WaShington, that the amount of $12,242.00 be transferred from the County Road Fund to the Portage Canal Bridge Bond Fund, and the Treasurer of Jeffer son County be and he is here by auth oriz ed and directed to make such transfer in order to meet the payments due for 1954 for principal and interest on the aforementioned bonds.
