County, anticipat:!.ng reimbursement for said river improvement of 40% or more of the
cost of the work from the Stute Flood Control Funds In accord,'nce with Chapter 43, Laws
of 1949 as amended; said project, to be desien;;lted EIS Flood Contl'Ol Pr'oject No.2 of 19~5.
The estimated cost of the project is $2,9$3.34.
Adopted this 17 day of Jan. 1955.

A notice was received from the State Liquor Control Uoard that due to the marriage
of Lillian M. ~itzke, d/b/a Discovery Bay Tavern, Star Route 2, Lots 3 and 4, Port To~n3end
her license has been amended to show he I' ma.rrl.ed namp., Lillian M. Balcom.
Miles E. Brown, County Sheriff appeared before the Board and requested permission to
carry a revolvin<:; fund for emergency expenditures for his office, and upon motion made by
BertH Kruse and seconded by George HuntinLford, Mr. Brown 'tIas r;ranted a revolving fund
of ~300.00. Resolution No. C-250 providing for this was signed as follows:

assembled, that it appears necessary, and in the orderly function of governmen t, that
there be immediately provided for, and for his use in order to take C2re of necessary
incident e:xp enses, that the 1'8 be set aside and created from the onobligated funds within
the Current Expense Fund of said County a fund to be known and eesi~nated upon the records
of the County Treasurer of Jeffen;on County, as COUNTY SHERIFF'S REVOLVING FUND, and, be it
FUR1'HER RESOLVED that this Board of County Commissioners deems the sum of Thrf38 hundred
Dollars ($.300.00) sufficient for the purpose, the same to be accounted for monthly through
reconcilia tion by and between the Sheriff of Jeffen;on County and the "udi tor and Treasurer
thereof.
