Resolution No. C-262 was signed for the purpose of making a survey down the north
bank of the Hoh River for the purpose of estimat.ing cost for road construction to elim-
inate swi~ing bridge across the Lower Hoh River -
RESULUTION NO. C-262
WHEREAS, The Jefferson County Road Department proposes to make a survey for a road
locati on down the north bank of the Hoh River througtl sectio ns 5 and 6 of Township 26
North, Range 12 West, W. M., and Sections 12, 14, 15 and 22 in Township 26 North, Ra~ge
HI West, W. M. i to get an estimate of cost for road construetio n thus eliminating the
swinging bridge across the Lower Hoh River 1n Section 22, Township 26 North, Range 13
West, W. M.
WHEREAS, the Peninsula Plywood Corporation of Port Angeles, Washington has offered
to stand one half of the expense of the survey and to do the work involved in making
said survey.
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, that the Jefferson County Road Department reimburse the
Peninsula Plywood Corporation one half of the cost of the survey not to exceed $5,000.00.
ADOPTED this 8 day of April, 1955.

The repair work on the Nordland road at Strombeck's corner, that is replacing two
60" in. culverts, was approved by the Board and Resolution No. C-263 was signed as follows:

BEFORE THE BOARD OF JEFFERSON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, STATE OF WASHINGTON.
In the matter of the Nordland

IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS that it is their inten-
tion to replace the existing bridge with concrete culver pipe and to realign the existing
road by grading, draining and surfacing.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED UIAT for the foregoing proper

The county road purpose herein described is HEREBY DECLARED to be a public necessity
and the County Road Engineer is HEREBY ORDERED AND AUTHORIZED to report and proceed
thereon as by law provided.
BE I'l' FURTHER RESOLVED that this purpose be performed by day labor in accordance with
the Standard Road and Bridge Specifi cntions of the State of Washington as adopted by this
Board.
