authorized and requested to make expenditures as are necessary from available state
funds for and on bahalf of the County of Jefferson to the extent of Fifteen Thousand,
Two Hundred Twenty-Two and 30/1~0 Dollars ($15,222.30) as a part of said County's
participating share and costa in the above-mentioned project, reimbursement therefor
being hereby pledged as a part of this resolution, to-wit; that there shall be and there
hereby is reserved, set aside and appropriated from the County Road Fund of the County
of Jefferson and allocated for the use and purpose herein mentioned the sum of Fifteen
Thousand, Two Hundred Twenty-Two and 30/100 Dollars (~15,22.30), which sum is to be held
by said County in trust for the sole and exclusi ve purpose of making reimbursem(,nt. thenfmn1
t.o the State of Washington for such e:xp~nclit.ures lllfJde by said State for and on behalf of
said County as a part of said County's participating share and costs in the above-mentioned
project. When and as the County is billed by the Director of Highways for reimbursement
for such expenditure made by the State, such billines when properly supported by current
accumulati ve estimates of the total cost of the aforementioned project to t.he date thereof
shall be promptly paid by warrant or warrants drawn on the County Road Fund to ~he exte~~
of the appropriation hereby made, reserved and set aside and allocated to such use and
purpose.

A letter was received from members of Chimacum Grange requesting signs for Chimac~~
Park on the Chimacum Highways. The necessary signs have already been ordered.
A petition having been filed by T. B. Baldh for that part of County Road No. 147
lying within Lot 3, Sec. 15, T. 25 N R 2 W WM., being a part of the old Olympia Highway,
replaced by a new location in the year 1931, the report of Keith Jones, Engineer was
received this date, stating that the road is not useable and should be vacated. The
Board has fixed the date of hearing for June 10, 1955 at 10:00 A. M.
