The Honorable Board of Jeffer'son County Commissioners met in regulilr session at
10:00 A. M., with all members present.
The minutes of the last regular meeting were read and Dpproved as read.
The Tuberculosis Hospitalization Budget in amount of $20,300.00 was approved by the
Board. Jefferson County's share in this expense is .6 mill on our valuation or $6,lRO.77.
A notice was received from the State Liquor Control Board th at the transfer of license
from Merle C. Walker d/b/a Dick'S Tavern, Port Ludlow, Washington, to Dell Cooper and
Virginia Cooper, Port Ludlow, was disapproved as financial arrangements are not satis-
factory.

The members of the Board spent some time inspecting roads during the afternoon.

The Honorable Board met in regular' session, wi th Lyall Arey and BertH Knlse present.
George Huntingford was attending a County Commissioners Association meeting in Elma.
This being the time for opening bids on cle0rin~ and grubbing 1.25 mi. of County Road
No. 27, the following bids were epened:
After carefully considerine all the bids, Bertil Kruse moved and Lyall Arey seconded
the motion to accept the lowest bid of Joe Suraee Construction Co., in zmount of $22,689.19.
The follo\'r.ing resolutions were signed for road work:

mix certain county roads and streets in the Chimacum, Haelock, Nordland~and Port Townsend
arc as.
