The minutes of the laflt regular meeting were read and approved &s read.

This being the time set for opening bids for County Roed Project 11148, the GrLffith

For the purpose of Checking figures on the bids, the awarding was postponed to 2:00
p.m., by motion made by George Hunting.ford, secor-ded by Bertil Kruse. Upon motion made
by George Huntine;ford, seconded by Bertil Kruse, t.he bid of Morrison-Cec(lt.ti in amount of
$37\954.20, the lowest and best bid was accepted after due and full consideration of all
hiLas received.
Mrs. Lee Davis appeared rele.t.i ve to Jefferson County Hi storieal Society, keepi ng the

This being the time advertised for heClring on the Ordirwnce relating to licfJnsJn[; coin
operated amusement devices, Mr. Max Plattner and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Martin appeared. The
iChairman read the proposed Ordinance. Mr. Lee Martin, owner of the 1~istling Oyster Tavern
at Quilcene, entered a written objection to the proposed Ordimmce. This matter' ViE,f]
continued to 2:00 p.m., on May 11, 1956 for further consideration.
Resolution No. C-296 to finance the Quil cene-Center Road und Maintonunee Agreement
