George Huntingford made a m~tion to close the Courthouse on Monday, Dece~ber 24th
to conform to arrangements made in many of the Counties of the State. Bertil Kruse
seconded the motion.
The matter .,1' distribution of Federal Forest Funds was completer! and the following
Resolution No. C-315 was signed as follows:
RESOLUTION NO. C-3l5
The Board of Jefferson County Commissioners for Jefferson County, having been
advised by the County Treasurer of Jefferson County, that the amount of the allotment
recei ved for the County of Jefferson from the Federal Government for Forest Reserves
for 1957, is $578,3$1.$6, now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners for Jefferson County, under
and pursuant to the provisions of Section 4057, Remington's Revised Statute3, that
sald allotment and the whole thereof shall be expended for the beneri t of the public
schools and public roads of Jefferson County, and not otherwise, as follows:
School Distrlct No. 20 - Queets, Clearwater,
School District No. 46 - Brinnon,
County SChools, the sum of

The amounts for schools shall be allocated on a daily attendance basis, with
School Districts Nos. 20 and 46 each receiving an additIonal $5,000.00 plus their

granted additional sums for operation, and signed Resolution No. C-J16 as follows:
