The Honorable Board met in regular session at 10:00 A. M., with all members present.
This being the time advertised for opening bids on gasoline, etc. for 1957 for
Jefferson County, the following bids were received:

Shell Stove oil Discount .0195
Shell Oil Co. Maximum price
Shell Gasoline - Discount .01. 75 $23.05

Upon motion made by George Huntingford, seconded by Bertil Kruse, the bid of Harper
Oil Company was accepted for Diesel oil, furnace oil and stove oil, and the bid of
Shell Oil Company for gasoline. Motion carried.
A call for bids was made for a 1957 4 door sedan e cylinders, with accessori es for
the Jefferson County Sheriff. Bids to be opened on Monday, January 21, 1957 at 10:00
A. M.
