WASHINGTON __IH.l..IdAQ.l.a.c.o.- I Monday, May 6, 1957 The Honorable Board of JeffersonCounty Commissioners met in regular session at 10:00 A. M., with all members present. This being the time advertised for opening bids for a gravel screening plant, and the following bids were received: Columbia Equipment Co., 5030 1st Ave., South, Seattle 4, Wash. Al terna te Bid plus tart. $5,675.00 4,750.00 Sahlberg Equipment Co., 5950 4th Ave., . South, Seattle a, Wash. Tax Total $4,972.00 i5,i~tH $3,74-3.00 124.~6 '3,807. 6 Evergreen Trailers, 10702 Aurora Ave., Seattle 33, Wash., Tax Total I George Huntingford moved and Bertil Kruse seconded that the bids be considered at 1:30 p.m. to allow for study. Applications for liquor licenses were approved as follows: Ethel E. Galloway, Mt. Walker Grocery, Quilcene, Wash. ~ license. James N. West, West 4 Corners, R2, Port Townsend, transfer of license from Genevieve E. Nelson EF. It also being the time for opening bids for county pri nting commencing July 1st, 1957, the following bid was received: Port Townsend Leader. $2.40 per 100 words for 1st insertion. 1.80 per 100 for subsequent insertions set solid. For matter not solid, such as Auditor's Annual report, election printing, etc., 85~ per column inch for 1st insertion, and 70~ for subsequent insertional The above bid was accepted by motion made by George Huntingford, seconded by Bertil Kruse. Motion carried. A lett.er was received from Rhododendron Grange No. 1137 at Gardiner reporting unsightly deposit of garbage along County road No. 9 in the Gardiner area. The Sheriff will be . directed to investigate the matter and action will betaken against guilty pa.rties. Minutes of the last regular meeting were read and approved as read. The bond of Doris Mae Breen, illGUU Deputy County Treasurer was approved for $10,000.00. Resolution No. C-328 was signed for grading, draining and surfacing :).53 miles County Road No. 12 (Chimacum to Port Ludlow:) RESOLUTION NO. I In the matter of County Road No. 12 (Chimacum to Port Ludlow) ) Resolution to grade, drain 8ld surface 0.53 ) mile of County Road No. 12. IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY CO~rrSSIONER3 that it is their intention to improve County Road No. 12 by grading, draining, and surfacing 0.53 mile. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT for the foregoing proper county road purpose there is hereby appropriated sums in the following detail: Lac. Engr. Right of Way Items of Wort: Day Labor Contract Constr. Engr.
