Minutes of the last regular meeting were read and approved ati read. A sales agreement was signed for sale of road on North Bank of Hoh River, in the SW~ NW~ Sec. 22, T 26 N., R ID W, W. M., for $60,000.00, from Milwaukee Land Company, Peninsula Plywood Corporati on and Rayonier, Inc. Mr. Wm. McDonald appeared before the Board relative to a road at Mats Mats. No action taken. This being the time advertised for opening bids on the Chimacum- Port Ludlow road (Larsen's Corners Section), the following bids were received: I J. P. Surace Const. Co., Seattle, Wash., Grisdale Const. Co., Shelton, Wash., 1. M. Saimons, Alderwood Manor, Wash., Morrison-Cecotti, Mount Vernon, Wash., Henry Gannon, Othello, Wash., Bass Const. Co., Seattle, Wash., $16,443.50 23,292.00 17,939.50 20,313.20 20,470.00 16,812.30 George Huntingford made a motion, seconded by Bertil Krus.e that the Engineer check figures on the above bids before making the award. George Huntingford maqe a motion, seconded by Bertil Kruse, that the low bid of $16,443.50 of J. P. Surace Construction Company, be accepted. Motion carried. There was no meeti ng of the Board on this date as Commissioners Kruse and Huntingford were in attendance at the County Commissioners' convention in Walla Walla, Washington. Monday, June 17, 1957. I The Honorable Board of Commissioners met in regular session with a 11 members present. An agreement between JefferGon County and the State of Washington was signed for the Quilcene-Center Road for $19,798.17. Resolution No. C-.330 setting aside $19, '198.17 from the County Road Fund was signed as follows: RESOLU~TON NO. C-330.
