the Board requesting permission to spray roads on Duckabus, and Dosewallips River
Roads for weeds and brush. The Commissioners do not favor weed spraying on roads
since it leaves such unsightly conditions with dead foliage and tre.es.
Mr. F. Leonard Ziel submitted his resignation as Assistant Civilian Defense
Director, due to press of personal business.

The cash was counted in the Tre'asurer's office and the amount of $972.94 was found
to be correct. in the office. The amount on hand June 30, 1957 was $25,427.98 in accord-
ance with the' Treasurer's report which was signed by the members of the Board.
No further business appearing, the meeting was adjoured and the Board will meet
in regular session on Monday, Zugust 5, 1957.
