The members of the Board of Jef1~rBon County Commissioners met In regular session
with all members present.
An applic(,tion was approved for \IlallaceW. lIigdon! 10th & Herrldck:3, por't 'l'm...n9ond,
for Ei senbeis Addl ti 011 to Port Town Bend, Lots 1- 8 B Dek 74 offered $120.00
Lots 5-6-7 Block 108" 45.QQ. $165.00
A call for bids was made for one dump truck, upon motion lIUlde by George Huntingforrl
seconded by Bertil Kruse to be opened MondRY, February 17, 1958 at. 11:00 A. M.
For the reason that the bid of General Electric CorporatIon did not. meet specifica-
tions on the high frequency F. M. communicfJtion system for the County Roads, 8\'iurded
January 20, 1958, Bertil Kruse made a motlon, seconded by George Hunti T\,,ford thCJt. the
bid be rejected and a new call for bids be issued, t.o bo opened Februal""'J 17, 1958 at
11:00 A. M.
Plans for rebuildine the County road for five milen from Cent.er t.o Chimucurn were
approved by the members of the Board.
The offer of Rayonier, Inc., for gravel on the Hoh River wati accepted by the Board
and the Agreement was siened by Chairman Lyall Arey for the BOl3.rd.
Minutes of the last regular meeting were read and approved as read.
This beine the time advertised for opening bids on one ~ ton pick-up truck, the
following bids were received:

Motor Company was accepted in amount of $1475.00 including sales tax and trade-ln.

made by George Huntingfonl, seconded by Bertil Kruse, g 4las decided to set salaries
effective February 1st, 195$ as follows: Harvey Christian .~MO.r:)i) per month.

Bertil Kruse present. Commissioner Huntingford was in attendance at Wenatchee, \I/Flsh-

Pursuant to a ruling of the Board, t hat Crown Zellerbach Corporat.l. on have a two-
year extensiCJn for timber cutting rights on the Airpor't timber pUI'Cha!JOll from Jeff"(H'son
County June 28, 1957. An agreement to this eff"Qct was :Jl.Ljnld by 1301.11',1 membf.il's.
For the purrose of transferring $1l,89Eh69 to tho Portage Can/ll Brldee Bond Fund
from the County Road Fuhd for redemptJon of bonds Nos. ~9-5El and coupons Nos. 14 and 15,
