10:00 A. M., with all memb'~rs present.

A participation agreementr/as signed with thp. Stat.c Dept. of Highways fur the
cont.ract cost for gr~dinp' and surf'lclnrr a porti on of Seco,;dary St:Jte Hit;hway No. 9-E,

lnt"o by and bptween the County of Jefferson and the 3tate of ','lash in~ton, acti ng through
its Department of Highways and the Director thereof, under the date of May 5, 1958,
the 3tate will act as agent for the County of Jefferson in thp participation of said
County ;-I1th the Bureau of Public Roads under the provi.3i ons of the Federal Aid Road Act
of 191.4, for the construction of Federal. Aid Secondary Project No. S-0496(1), Chimacum-
Center Road. copy of which a"reement is hereunto attached, now referred to canti by Sl1Ch
reference incor ,orated herein and made a part hereof, n:)w. therefore,
BE IT HEREBY RESULVED that said agreement be and the same is hereby ratified and
approved; and
BE IT HEHEI3Y FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Highways be and he is authorized
and requested to make expenditure as are necessary from available st<lte funds for and
on behalf of the County of Jefferson to the extent Forty-four thou"and, fife hundred
fifty-four and 36/100 Dollars ($4h,554.36) as a part of said County's participating share
and cn.'<ts in the above-mentioned project, reimbursement hterefor being hereby plp.dged
as a part of this resolution, to-wit; That ~lere shall be and there hereby is reserved,
2et asine and aopropri a~ed frnm the County Hoad Fund of theCounty of Jefferson and
a:j.located for the use and {Jurnose herein mentioned the sum of Forty-four thousand, five
hundred fifty-f"u'" and 36jlOO Dollars 044,554.36), which S1Jm is to be hel d by.said
County in trust for the sole and excl usiye purpose of making reimbursement therefrom to
the State of,vashin~ton for such expenditures made by said State for and on behalf of
said County as a part of said County's pRrticipating share and costs in the ahove-mentionpd
p"'ojPct. When and as the County is billed by the Director of Highways for reimbursement
for such expenditure made by the St~.te, S1) ch billings when properly supf-orted by CUITent.

sh~ll be promptly paid by warrant or 'r/arrant::; drawn on the Count" Road Fund to the extent
