The Honorable Board of Jefferson County Commissioners met in regular session with all members present. This being th~ time for opening bids for asphaltic concrete pavement, Class "B", on six miles of Jefferson County Road No. 216 (Upper Hoh), the only bid received was from Interstate Asphalt Company, Inc., 905 E. Heron St., Aberdeen, in amount of $36,400.00, and upon motion by George Huntingford, seconded by Bertil Kruse, this bid was accepted. Minutes of the last regular meeting were read and approved as read. This being the time set for vacation of a portion of Spruce St. lying between Fitchburg St. and Hayden St. in the Phillips and Correia Addition to Irondale, County of Jefferson. Mr. Glenn Abraham appeared and presented an affidavit of Howard E. F~ley of posting notices on the property. The Board signed the Order of Vacation as follows: ORDER OF VACATION. ~ ~ This matter having come on to be heard this date upon the petition of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Somersall, Mr. and Mrs. L. O. Gleason, Mr. and Mrs. Guy F. Rudolph, and Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Foley, for an order VACATING: That portion of Spruce Street lying and being between Fitchburg Street and Hayden Street in the Phillips and Correia Addi tions to Irondal e, County of Jefferron, State of Washington; and it appearing to the Board of County Commissioners for Jefferson County that Noti ce of Hearing on the said petition was given by posting for the time and in the manner provided by law; no person or persons appearing to object, and said petitioners being the sole owners of all property abutting upon the said portion of said streets sought to be vacated, NOW THEREFORE, it is by the Board of County Commissioners for Jefferson County, Washington, in regular session assembled, ORDERED: That That portion of Spruce Street lying and being between Fitchburg Street and Hayden Street in the Phillips and Correia Additions to Irondale, County of Jefferson, State of Washington; is hereby VACATED. 7th day of July, 1958.
