The county road purpose herein described is HEREBY DECLARED to be's public necessity
and the County Road Engineer is HEREBY ORDERED AND AlJ'l'HORIZED to report and proceed
thereon as by law provided.
BE IT FURTHER RE~nLVED that this purpose be performed by day labor in accordance with
the Standard Road and Bridge Specifications of the State of Washington as adopted by
this Board.

A letter was received from the Chima cum Volunteer Fire Department, in appreciation
of the public Rest Rooms installed at Oak Bay on the spit.

A letter was received from the Interstate Asphalt Co., quoting the price of $6.00
per ton for placing asphaltic concrete from the Upper Hoh Store to the National Park
boundary, with the County of Jefferson furnishing the mineral aggregate and the bidder
loading and hauling the mineral aggregate from the stockpile to the mixing plant.
Recess at 4:00 p.m.

The Honorable Board' met in regular session with all meml:ers present.
A letter was received from the United States Department of Agriculture informing
the Board, that subject to final verification and audit, this County's share of the
Federal Forest Funds will be about $460,000.00.
Tho members of the Board proceeded with the County Engineer to inspect the Chimacum
Center road, and various other roads in the County.
No further business" appearing the Board recessed to meet in regular session Tuesday,
September 2, 1958.
