TRANSFER RESOLUTION AND REQUEST FOR THE DIRECTOR OF HIGHWAYS '10
PERFORM CERTAIN WORK

Before .the Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson County, Washington:
It IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners that the Director of
Highways is requested and permitted to make expenditures as are necessary from available
state funds for and on behalf of the County of Jefferson to the extent of five thousand
three hundred seventeed and 12/100 Dollars ($5,317.12) as a part 0 f the County's
participating Sure and costs in the above mentioned project.
to the amount of Five housand three hundred seventeed and 12/100 Dollars being an
amount not in excess of the amount of money now credited or reasonably antlclpated to
accrue to Jefferson County in the Motor Vehicle Fund during the 1957-19;9 biennium and
IT IS HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED, that the State Auditor is authorized to reserve to the
credi t of Jefferson County an amount not to exceed the above specified sum for the use
of the Director of Hlghways, and upon presentation of a statement of cost, which
includes all labor, equipment, material, supplies and engineering, by the Director of
Hlghways (a copy of whichwil1 be sent to Jefferson County at the completion of the job)
to the State Auditor, the State Auditor is directed and authorlzed to transfer the above
mentloned reservee credit from Jefferson County to the credit of the Department of
Highways in accordan ce ~lith Chapter 82, Session Laws of 1943.
ADOPTED thls 15th day of September, 1958.

Monday, September 15, 1958.
The Board of County Commissioners met in regular session with all members present.
A receipt for $251.00 was race! ved from the Department. of Natural Resources fun
timber removed on easement for rlght 01' way for County road, on aiJPl1cation No. 1393.
Messrs. Webster and Kirkwood representing the State Department of Natural Resources
appeared and presented to the Board a propos ed plan fo r the solut:l on of the problem
now confronting the Board on the Upper C1ear~/ater Road. The members of the Board were
of the unanlmous oplnion that the plan submitted was not only in the publlc interest,
of Jefferson County, but Statewide as well. The matter was continued pending advlce
from the Department of Natural Itesourcos.
No further business appearlng, the meeting adjourned and the members will meet ln
regular session on Mond.ay, VctobeI' 6, 1958.
