Monday, October 20, 1958.
The honorable Board of Jefferson County Commissioners met in regular session with all
members present.
Mr. Ed McMinn appeared relati ve to CutS in his budget for County Agri cultur!! Office.
The Board proceeded to count cash i.n the 'IReasurer's office and found the amount of
$579.83, florrect. The Treasurer's repct't WaS signed by t he Board members.
A letter was received from the P. U. D. #1 of Mason County stating that brush along
the Duckabush and Dosewa11ips River had €rown to a height of 6 to 8 feet and could not
be sprayed according to the agreement rnaCiEl Wi th the County. They will cut this growth
and follow with st~mp spraying. This meets With approval of the Board.
Mr. Neil Pendley of the Teamsters I Un:i.on appea.red before the Board relati ve to the
salaries of :road employees. No decision lias made on the matter.
The members of the Board proceeded to Gardiner and examined the road to the graveyard
and decided upon .repairs whi ch are neces~ary to be made.
The Final Road Program was presented by the County Engineer liona1d Wl1der and
accepted as follows:
