the County Road Engineer is HEREBY ORDERED AND AUTHORIZED TO report and proceed thereon
as by law provided.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this purpose be performed by day labor in accordance with
the Standard Roed and Bridge Spacifications of the State of Washinrton as adopted by this
Board.

The Boord of ,Jefferson County Commis$ioners met in regular session at 10:00 A. M.,
wi th all members present.
Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Hindshaw appeared relative to the Gardiner Road right of way.
'Lhis matter was taken under advisement.
Mr. Roy Jakeway appeared relative to brush picking on private land. The matter
was given to the Sheriff for investigation.
Mr. Harry Cotton appeared relative to the property near thc Eoat Haven in which the
Port of Port 'l'ownsend is interested. :,
Mr. Purvis of Tideland Oil.and ,Gas Corporation appeared. A lease will be drawn up "
for County land which can be used for oil drilling. :1
Mrs. Helen Shold complimented the Board on the g oed condition of the Nordland road.::
A call for bids was mad.e for Friday, March 11, 1960, fC:lr onc dump truck for the i;
Road Department. :1
An application for ,County land was approved for Donald Arthur Churchill for the ;:
SEtNW~ Sec. 15 T. 27 N. R 1 W., offered $100.00.:' '
