The Honorable Board of Jefferson County commiasioners met in regular session with
all members present.
Mr. Ernest Schmidt of South Point appeared relative to a road in to his property.
The Board advised him the matter will be taken urlbr advisement next Fall.
A letter was received from the Dept. of Natural Resources stating the County's
share of money received on rental for oil and gas lease #53772 will be $246.40.
Minutes of the last regular meeting were read and approved as read.
An application was received for County Property from Paul E. Reid, Rt. 4, Box

Kalaloch Lodge. Clearwater, for liquor license H- for 2 additional months May 1, 1960
to June 30, 19bO. Approved.
Mr. George Simpokes appeared and discussed the proposed new garbage dump near the
Arcadia. He entered a protest against the establishment of a durap at that site. The
land has not been deeded to the County at this date.
Mr. Roy Thompson appeared in the matter. If the trade with the State goes through,
the members of the Board will examine the ground with Mr. Simpokes and Mr. Thompson
before establishing a dump on that location.
Resolution No. C-43l was signed for completing, grading and surfa~ing of the
Anderson Lake Road, as follows:

grading, draining and surfacing of Road No.

IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS THAT it is their intention
to add additional monies for completion of county road project no. 194, Anderson Lake
Road.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT for the foregoing proper co~~ty road purpose there is hereby
appropriated sums in the following detail:

The county road purpose herein described is HEREBY DECLARED to be a public necessity
and the County Road Engineer is HEREBY ORDERED AND AUTHORIZED TO report and proceed
thereon as by law provided.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT this purpose be performed by day labor in accordance with
the Standard Road and Bridge Specifications of the State of Washington as adopted by
this Board.
