WHEREAS, the necessity of the proposed land acquisition could not h~ been foreseen
at the time of the adoption of the official budget for the Current Expense Fund for the1j

Now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED that a public emergency requiring the expE!nditure of!1
money in the amount as hereinbefore set forth, and not provided for in the budget for tpe
year 1960, be and the same is hereby declared to exist in order to accomplish the objectives
herein indicated, and, ii
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a public hearing be had hereoti 'at ten 0 I clock in the !I
forenoon of June 6, 1960, at the Commissioners I Room in the Court House, Port Townsend, It,
Washington at which time and place any tax payer may appear and be heard for or againstli
theexpendi ture of said amount of money for such alleged emergency. Ii
