The Honorable Board of Jefferson County Commissioners met in regular session with all members present. Mrs. Jane Gatchet and Mr. and Mrs. John Gatchet appeared regarding a road in Gardiner. One piece of rir~t of way still remains to be acquired. When the matter is completed the work wHl be put on the road program. A letter from the Department of General Administration relati ve to continuing the lease for the Department of Public Assistance in the Courthouse, was receifed. Upon motion of Lyall Arey, seconded by Bertil Kruse, the lease will be contined at $100.00 per month. Applications for liquor license renewal was approved for C. V. Dorothy, Highway lOl, Brinnon. EF Application also approved fdr Becker's Ocean Resorti Inc., d/b/a Kalaloch Lodge, houte 1, Clearwater. H Beckers Ocean Resort. Rou~l, C earwater E. Minutes of the last regular meeting were read am approved. Mr. Ernest Schmidt from South Point appeared and requested the Board to consider a road in to his property. This was to be investigated in the Fall. Mrs. Mary Siccardi, Port Ludlow and Mr. and Mrs. Harley Graves, Port Ludlow, appeared regarding Olympus Beach Tracts. They were opposed to opening a road to the Beach near their property. Erne"t Duston - 8820 Stone Ave., Seattle 3. and Albert Sievert, 403B, Princeton, China Lake, California, appeared relative to a road at Coyle. - Seahome Addition. I The members of the Board met i.n regplar session with a 11 members present. A letter \'/8:3 received f1."0m August Th5_el of Ardata, California regarding a right of ; way through his Gardiner property for which he has set the price of $150.00. plus the il installation of a 4 wire barbed wire fence with no gate. The Board, upon motion by Lyall!l Arey, 3 econded by Bertil Kruse, agreed to perform the work of inst.alling the fence upon Ii receipt of the right of way deed. .:! The members of the Board proceeded to the Treasurer's office to count the cash found the ammunt of $641.37 to be correct for cash on hand. The Treasurer's report signed. Mr. Oscar E. Emmenegger appeared relative to regulations for boaters, swimmers and others using waters of Jefferson County. It \'IIlS decided to confer wit.h Commissioners of various Counties at the nex.t Distri ct moeti ng and consider the reguiati ons at a future date. For the purpose of cleaning and painting the Portage Canal Bridge, Resolution No. C-441 was signed for $4,000.00 as follows: I RESOLUTION NO.
