An easement was granted by the Commissioner of Pub ic Lands fQr a right of way for County road over NE~RE~,SW~NEt and SW1SE~ of ~ec. 10, and the' NWiNE~ of Sec. 15, all in, township'26 North, Rangel West, ~. M. in. Jefferson County. This,is,in the West End of the County and is necessary to reaCh a County gravel pit. . ll:OO A~ M. being tne time advertised for'op'ening bids for construction of Bitumdnou~ Plant Mix on 12.2 miles of Upper Hoh Road No. 210. Upon motion made by Lyall Arey, seconded by Bertil Kruse, the bid of Interstate Asphalt Co., Inc., in amount of $50,730.00 was accepted. An application for County land was approved as follows: Irondale - Lots 1 & 2, Blk 7, $10.00 n n 24 to 29, Blk. 36, 30.00 Wm. B. Cornett, Rt. 1, Port ToWDsedd offered 040.00 Minutes of the last regular meeting were read and approved as read. Mr. Art Fast of Howard-Cooper Corp. appeared before the Board and discussed road machinery. Dave Bengtson appeared and requested a corner post be relocated near Chimacum where the road encroached on property owned by him. Harry Cotton and Mr. John U. Wright appeared relative to the plat of Ocean Grove Estates. November 21, 1960 at 10:00 A. M., was fixed for a hearing on the plat. The Honorable Board of Jefferson County Commissioners met in regular session with all members present. :~ Columbus Day, October 12th and Lincoln'S Birthday, February 12th, being State Holidays a motion was made by Lyall Arey, seconded by Berti! Kruse, that County road employees I. be gl ven such days as holidays. : The Board members proceeded to the office of the County Treasurer and counted cash.
