The Honorable Board of Jefferson County Commissioners met in regular session with
all members present.
This being the time advertised for opening bids for one automobile for the County
Sheriff's office, the following bids were received:

that the bid of the Oly@pic Garage and Equipment Company was accepted as follows:

Upon motion by Lyall Arey, seconded by George Huntingford. the County Engineer
was authorized to develop plans and specifications for a road material screening plant,
and to publish same with a call for bids for Monday, March 6 1961 at l.:OO A. M.
Upon motion made by Gee rge Huntingford, seconded by Lyall Arey! it was unanimously I:
resolved that upon receipt by the County of suitable right of way Gounty Engineer "
Edwin Becker proceed to place upon the road program of Jefferson County for 1962, ..
a county road between tot 9 and Lot 8 of Olson and Hamilton's Addition at Nordland. r
For the purpose of reimbursing the State for the overrun of the inspection cost!
of the County Road at Portage Canal Bridge - Resolution No. C-458 was signed as follows:

Before the Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson County, Washington.
It is HEREBY RESOLVED by the B~ard of County Commissioners that the Director of
Highways is authorized and directed to perform additional work in accordance with
Agreement No. GC-a13-R
to the amount of One hundrvd-four and 67/100 Dollars (l04.67) DOllars, being an amount
not in excess of the amount of money now credited or,reasonabJJ anticipated to accrue
to Jeffe~son County in the Motor Vehicle Fund during the current biennium and
Authorization is hereby granted for the withholding from the allocation of fuel
tax revenues to Jefferson County, from the Motor Vehicle Fund, an mount not in excess
of the above specified sum, for the use of the ,Director of Highways to defray the costs
incurred in the performance of the aforesaid requested work, and upon completion of
the aforesaid work, a statement having been furnished Jefferson County of the cost of
all laborl equipment, material, supplies! and engineering, authorization is made to
effect re mbursement to the Department or Highways in the amount of such cost from the
funds withheld, however, not to exceed the above specified sum with a ny unexpended
balance to be released to Jefferson County and to bo included in the next aucceeding
warrant covering fuel tax allotments, all in accordancd with RCW 47.08.060.
