The Honorable Board of Jefferson County Commdssionors met in regular session with
all members Dresent. '
Minutes. 01' the last regular meeting were read and approved as read.
A petition for vacation of an unnamed street between Blocks"l'& 6, and Unnamed
street easterly ot westerly boundary of Block i" lying between blocks 1, and 16, on
south of blocks 7 & 8J. Ncrdland Plat, was filed o.y Glenn AbrahamJ attorney at Law.
April 3, at 11:00 A. M.) was fixed for hearing of petition. Roy J... and Ruth Nordby.
A motion was made DY Lyall Arey, seconded by George Huntingford to have Engineer
Edwin Becker look in to the matter of extending the parking lot in the rear of the
Courthouse. A letter was received from Prosecuting Attorney W111iam J. Daly making a "
requeat,for an extension of the parking lot. Mr. Becker to report back on Friday, Marcil

A request was made from Quimper Grange #720 that the Commissioners appoint a p
planning commission. This will be in the long range program. if
Mr. Harry A. Cotton appeared with the plat of Ocean Groves Estates. A ,motion was :i
made by George Huntingford, seconded by Lyall Arey that a part of the Plat be accepted ;,
by the Board as per letter of Mr. Cotton, attached. Motion carried. ii
This being the time advertised for opening bids for.a screening plant, the followipg
bids were received. .

A motion was made by Lyall Arey, seconded by George Huntingford that the County
Engineer chock the figures on tho two 10~IElSt bids. Award to be made at 1:30 p.m. At
1:30 P.M., Lyall Arey made a motion, oecon4ed by George Huntingford that the bid of
Bass Co~struction Co., Inc., in amount of '29,764.50 as the lowost bid received for
const~ction of 1.212 miles or Anderson Lake road, east section, be aacepted.
