The Honorable Board ot Jefferson County Commissioners met in regular session w1t~ all
members present. ~
Minutes of the 1~8t regular se8810n were read and approved as read.
A notice was received from the Washington State Liquor Control Board that license
1ssHed to Corinne El1l'4abeth Burns and Raymcmd Earl Burns d/b/a Tralls~ End Tavern, was,
transferred March 22nd to Chester E. Strand and Pearl Strand! under the same trade nam~G
-- A notice was also received that license issued to Anne Gertrud. Judge d/b/a i:
Geoduck Tavern, Brinnon, has been transferred as of March 28th to Andrew C. Dalgleish;
and Edith Jean Dalgleish under the same trade name.
An application for ~E" liquor lioenije for John B. Wike, Hoh C~p, For.ks, Wash.,
was approved by the Board. "
Resolution No. C-462 for surfacing Beaver Valley- Chimacum-Paper Mill and Quilcene
Roads in amount of $132,082.10 was signed as follows: .

IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS that it is their intention
to surface with bituminous plant mix 10.ll miles of county roads - Beaver Valley-
Chimacum, Paper Mill Road and Quilcene roads.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT FOR the foregoing proper county road purpose there is
hereby appropriated sums in the following detail:

and the County Road Engineer iJl HEREBY CRDERED AND AUTHORIZED to report and proceed
thereon as by law provided.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this purpose be performed by contract in accordance with
the Standard Road and Bridge Specifications of the State of Washington as ddopted by
this Board.
ADOPTED THIS 3rd day of April, 1961.
