Authorization i8 hereby granted for the withholding from the allocation of fuel tax I
revenues to Jeffer80n County, f rom the Motor Vehicle Fund, an amount not in exceS8 of the,
above specified 3um, for the use of the Director of HighwaY8 to defray the costs incurred [i
in the performance of the aforesaid requested work, and upon completion of the aforesaid :1
work, a statement having been furnished Jefferson County of the cost of all labor, equipme.nt,
material, supplies, and engineering, authorization i8 mads to effect reimbursement to the!i
Department of Highways in the amount of such cost from the funds withheld, however, not t~
exceed the abova specified sum with any unexpended balance to be released to Jefferson I
County and to be included in t he next succetlding warrant covering fuel tu allotments, [I
all in accordance with RCW 47.06.060. I,

RESOLUTION NO. C-465
WHEREAS, under and by virtue of the terms of that certain agreement made and entered!!
into by and between the County of Jefferson and the State of Washington, acting through !'
its Department of Highways and the Director thereof, under date of April 3, 1961, the I
, State tTill act as agent for the County of Jefferson in the participation of said County ;1
of Jefferson with the Bureau of Public Roads under the provisions of the Federal Aidt Roa~
, Act of 1944, for the construction of Federal Aid Project No. S-0322(4) BEAVEJl'VALLEY- :i
CHIMACUM ROAD, copy of which agreement is hereunto attached, now referred to and by such ~i
reference incorporated herein and made a part hereof, now, therefore,

BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that said agreement be and the same is hereby ratified and
approved I and ,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that authorization is hereby granted for the reservation of
an amount of Fifty-five thousand and no/100 Dollar6 ($55,000.00) from monthly fuel tax
allotments, being an amount not in excess of the money reasonably anticipated to accrue
to the County of Jefferson in the Motor Vehicle Fund during the current biennium as the
balance of the estimated participating share and costs of the County of Jefferson in the
above-mentioned project, for the use of the Director of Highways to defray the costs
incurred in the perfo~mance of the aforesaid requested workj and upon completion of the
aforesaid work, payment having been made therefor, and a statemont having been furnished
to the County of Jefferson, authorization is made to'release, to the County of Jefferson
, any unexpended balance of the amount reserved by this resolution. The a mount of Federal
, Aid participating funds will be credited to the County when received from the Bureau of ,
Public Roads.
The above funds will be withheld as follows:,
