This being the time t.Lxed for hearing the petition tor vacation ot ths portion ot
unnamed street in the plat ot Nordland lying between blocks 1 & 6 easterly ot the right
ot way ot East ~~rrowstone Road; and all that portion of unnamed street in Plat of
Nordland lying easterly of westerly boundaryllne; extended,of Block 15 lying betwe3n
Blocks 15 and 16 on the south and block 7 & 8 on t he north.
Engineer Edwin A. Becker" gave a report ot his findings in the matter, and upon motion
by Lyall Arey, seconded by George Hungtintord, the Order ot Vacation was signed as follows:
ORDER OF VACATION
This matter coming on to be heard this date upon the petition of Roy L. Nordby and
Ruth Nordby, for an order VACATING:
All of the portion of the unnamed street in the Plat of Nordland lying and
being between Blocks land 6 of said Plat, and ly$ng Easterly of the right-of-way
of the East Marrowstone'Road; and
All of that portion ot the unnamed street in the Plat of Nordland lying
Easterly of the Westerly boundary line, extended, of Block 15 of said Plat,
and lying and being between Blocks 15 and 16 on the South and Blocks 7 and 8
on the North, EXCEPT the right-of-way of the existing East Marrowstone Road.
and it appearing to the Board of County Commissioners for Jefferson County that notice of
hearing on t he said Petition was given by posting for the time and in the manner provided
by law; no person or persons appearing to object. and said Petitioners being the sole
owners of all property abutting upon the said portion of said streets sought to be

NOW THEREFORE, it is by the BOARDOF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS FOR JEFFER3:N CD UNTY, WASH-
INGTON, in regular session assembled, ORDERED:
All of the portion of the unnamed street in the Plat of Nordland lying and
being between Blocks 1 and 6 of said Plat. and lying Easterly of the right-of-way
of the East Marrowstone Road; and
All ~f that portion of the unnamed street in the P~at of Nordland lying

The Honorable Board of Jefferson County Commissioners met in regular aession with
all members present.
Dr. Barbara Bliss appeared and requested the County to acquire right of way on the
Coyle Peninsula across Natural Resources land for $l,042.00. This will be tabled for
future action.
In accordance with Public Law #85-529 of the 85th
Commissioners signed a Proclamation declaring May 1st,

Mr. M. P. Rogers, ~8 L. V. Schroedor and Mr. R. E. Leiurance of Port Angeles
appeared before the Board relative to the continuation of the road for access to the i,
beach on the Coyle Peninsula. Lyall Arey moved that Engineer Becker and Bertil Kruse J;
contact Mr. E. K. Knott of Seattle, who owns adjacent land that would have to be crossea
to construct a road. George Hunt.ingfol"'d seconded the motion. :1
