The Honorable Board of Jefferson County Commissioners met in regular session with
all members present.
Mr. Horace Channing, Nordland, appeared before the Board and was given permission
to put a literature raCK in the Courthouse hall.
This being the time set for hearing on the petition of Harry A. Cotton for vacation I
of Portion of Ocean Grove Plat file d for record September 17, lS9l, pos ting and adver- "
tising having been completed in accordance with the Statutes, Ilnd no objections having "
been received, the vacation will be granted. ::
A letter of appreciation was received from Clinton Porter, fai r manager, on the help'
given by the Commissioners in securing labor, materials, and equipment used at the i
Jefferson County Fair grounds.
, Renowal of liquor license to Oren and Pauline Connor, d/b/a Connor's Corner Grocery,'
Route 1, Port Townsend, received. This permit will be until June 30, 1962. i;
A call for bids was made for furnishing highway Department with one dump truck. Bids
to be opened September 18, 1961, at 11:00 A. M. ' , '
Resolution No. C-478 was signed to improve by placing rip-rap for flood control on
Quinault Road, No. 202, as follows:

IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF roUNTY COMMISSIONERS that it is their intention
