A letter was received from County Clerk Isabel M. Kidd requesting the partition in Ii
the room used as a Jury room, to be continued to the ceiling to enable the Juvenile il
Probation officer to have privacy when interviewing juveniles. !i

The Preliminary Budgets having been duly filed with the Board of County Commissione~s
on or before September 8, 1961, and with the County Audi tor on or before the second Mond~y
in August, 1961, in accordance with the provisions of the law. and due notice having bee~n
published in the Port Townsend Leader that on the first Monday in October, 1961, the Boa~d
of County Conunissioners would meet for the purpose above stateCl., and after hearing with I:
the various organizations representing taxpayers, and having heard all matters in connec~ion
wi th the Budget, it was ordered that tax levies be set as follows and the following budgets
approved upon motion made by Lyall Arey and seconded by George"Huntingford, and unanimo~sly
carried, and the Resolution adopting same signed by the members of the Board. The Current
Expense Budget in the amount of $178,395.92, the final Road Budget in the ainount of, ~
.503,267.23, a.'ld the Equipment Rental and Revolving Fund Budget in the amount of $l70,50~.00.
