the County Road Engineer is HEREBY ORDERED AND AUTHORIZED to report and proceed thereon
as by law provi ded.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that thi s purpose be performed by day labor in accordance with the S
Standard Road and Bridge Specifications of the State of Washington as adopted by this Board.

For the pur.pose of renewing a lease and permit for the State Highway Dept. for Primary
State Highway #9, Lake Hooker to Jackson's Cove Stockpile Site No. 3335, the members of the
Board signed a Resolution and lease until March 1, 1907.
RESOLUTION BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
JEFFERSON COUN1'Y
lmEREAS, Jefferson County is the record owner of the following described lands:
That portion of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 11,
Township 27 North, Range 2 West, Y. M., described as follows: Commencing
37.5 fee~ West of the auarter corner between Se?tions 11 and 12, said township and
runge~ tnence North 14 45' Vest 1365 feet'along course of the center line of track of
Port 'l'o\'msend Southern Railroad to a point on the North Boundary of the Southeast Quarter'
of s aid Section 11; thence Vest 51.7 feet' to a point on the Westerly Boun<;iary of right of:way of
sai d railroad and true point of beginning; thence West 395 feet along North Boundary of:
said Southeast Quarter of Northeast Quarter of Sect,ion 11 to a point on the Easterly:!
Boundary of the County Road; thence South $015' East 546.0 feet along scd.d Ei:<sterly Bound-:-

WHEREAS in the improvement of Primary State High\'lD.Y No.9, Lake Hooker to Jackson's Cove,
by the State of Washington, nepartment of Highways, it is necessary and advisable ,for the
State of Washington to lease the above described lands for the purpose of depositing,
storing and stockpiling crushed stone and other highway materials i and

it appears to the said Board that it wiol be for the best interests of both Joffer:.Jon County
and the State of liuohington that Jefferson County leuse said lands to the State of Washington
for the consideration of Mutual Benefits for the period beginning wi th the d ato of this
resolution until March 1, 1967;and,
NOli THEREFORE, be it hereby RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson
